A few useful answers
Can I play from outside the UK?
Yes. Our English-language online games and downloadable PDFs are available to players worldwide, including the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and South Africa. These are digital games: no physical parcel is posted. You need an internet connection for online play and to download your files. Payment availability depends on the methods supported at checkout.
Which currency will I pay in?
Website prices are shown in British pounds (GBP). Check the currency and final total shown at checkout before paying. If your payment is in GBP and your bank account uses another currency, your bank or card provider may apply an exchange rate and fees.
Can I print on US Letter paper?
Check the paper size beside each download. Current player packs are labelled A4. If you use US Letter paper, select Fit to printable area in your PDF print settings and check the preview for clipped edges before printing the pack. Text and clues may print slightly smaller.
Can I buy a game or join a membership?
Yes. Create a free Reading Room account to buy an individually available game, or choose a monthly or annual paid membership. Check the game page for its editions and membership eligibility.
Can I buy several games together?
Use Add to basket on each game page, then choose Continue purchase from your basket. Online purchases include the matching downloadable case papers where available. You can buy a printable edition separately if you prefer paper play. Membership subscriptions have their own checkout.
Where are my games?
Sign in to My Library to find your purchases, welcome games and eligible releases. Archive bonuses have their own section. If payment succeeded but a game is missing, contact us with your order reference before trying to buy again.
Can I keep a smaller list of games I am playing?
Choose Save for later on a library card, or Add to Library on an owned game’s page. Select Saved games in My Library to see just those choices. Removing a saved choice does not remove your game, downloads or progress; they remain under All my games.
What happens when my paid membership ends?
Your purchases, welcome games, earned releases and unlocked bonuses stay yours after ordinary expiry or cancellation. You stop receiving new membership games and bonuses. Stopping renewal does not normally end access before the paid period finishes.
How do monthly bonuses work?
Master Key earns one archive choice on joining and another each paid membership month. Choose through your account or My Library. Unused choices accumulate and remain available after membership ends. Annual billing follows the same monthly pace. Casekeepers includes three welcome games and eligible new releases; earlier games can be purchased separately.
Where is my progress saved?
Blackthorn, Bell and the four story investigations save progress to your account. The Clockwork Menagerie saves in your browser on this device. Avoid clearing browser data if you want to keep locally saved progress.
How do printable games work?
Download available PDFs from your library. Keep the hints and solution closed until you want them. Paper-game progress is self-reported; marking a game started or finished does not measure time away from the screen.
Do I need a paid membership?
No. The Reading Room account is free and can hold individual purchases. Some games, including the welcome collection and Detective Wallis online mysteries, are offered through the relevant paid membership.
Will there be adverts or affiliate links?
No. Wallis House is supported by its own games and memberships.
